Sunday 21th
16.00 Arrival of the partners at ATHENS AIRPORT. Βy bus to Lamia (except HUNGARY).
Dinner at KAMENA VOURLA

Monday 22th
8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast at the hotel. Arrival of Hungary
9.30: “ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AS A TOOL OF SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT” Part I, Seminar (at the hotel’s congress room)

16.00-18.00: Study visit at the Thermal springs of Damasta and the geological phenomena in Heraklia /ancient Trahina (with the cooperation of Environmental Center of Stylida/Ypati). Bath in the springs
20.30: Welcome Dinner at AGIOS LOUKAS restaurant offered by the MAYOR of Lamia
Tuesday 23 th
8.00-9.00 Breakfast at the hotel
9.30 Pick-up the teachers from the HOTEL. Walking at school
9.50-11.30 WELCOME:
– Headmaster Greetings
– Offering symbolical gifts to partners
– Presenting the partners to pupils
– Visiting classes / interactive games
11.30: Coffee break
12.00: Cooking lessons by the 5th & 6th graders in the Cultural Center of Lamia (Greek salad, tzatziki and Dakos)
13.30-14:30: Lunch with typical Greek dishes prepared by students and teachers
14.30-16.30: Activities Presentation by all partners: videos about activities and Local Myths / congress room of the Cultural Center of Lamia

Wednesday 24th

9:00 -16:30 Leaving for Delfi tour: “Archaeological museum and site of Delfi” ( with the cooperation of Environmental Center of Amfissa )
“Geological changes in the aerea /myths and legends related to geological changes”
Packed lunch offered by school
15:00 Visit to the town of Galaxidi / ouzo or bath
17:00 Returning to the hotel
21:00 Dinner at “ENALLAX – Greek dishes and music”
Thursday 25th
8:00 Breakfast at the hotel
8.45 Pick-up the teachers from the HOTEL
9.00 -10.30: Visit by bus to the Castle of Lamia and Archaeological Museum (with the cooperation of VIV Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities) Walking through the old town’s paths
11.00-11.30: Strolling around LAMIA
11.30: “Message in a bottle” Art workshop at the municipality’s Workshop “ART SCHOOL” –with the cooperation of the Municipality of Lamia
13.30: Lunch in the center at” FITILIS” restaurant / FREE TIME
19.00-21.00 Municipal Theater
Drama presentation “12 Gods of Olympus visited Greece in 2017)”
Traditional dances, folk songs and modern dance. Delivering the Certificates and gifts.
Taking a picture with all ERASMUS TEAM (students, teachers, parents)
21:30 Dinner at IVALI tavern with traditional music
Friday 26th
8:00 Breakfast at the hotel
8:30: ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AS A TOOL OF SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT” Part IV – STUDY VISIT (by bus offered by the Region of Central Greece)
: Thermopylae historical center (archeological site / battlefield and Museum), visit the Thermal spring, visit to the Monastery of Koimisi Theotokou at Kamena Vourla and observe the geological changes in Maliakos Gulf, Lihades Island by boat (depending on the weather) Bath.
Geo-mythological – Geo-environmental paths: the volcano’s eruption and ‘The myth of Hercules and Lihas” (with the cooperation of Environmental Center of Stylida -Ypati)
13.00 Lunch at the island
18:00 Return at hotel
Evaluation questionnaire (seminar and meeting) – suggestions and conclusions
21:30 Farewell dinner and party in a bar (food is offered by school).
Saturday 27th
8.00: Departure from the hotel to Athens
11.30: Tour by bus to the city center (Panathinaiko Stadium, Parliament, National Garden)
12.30: Visit to Acropolis and Acropolis museum, Plaka, Thision, Ancient market and Monastiraki / Sightseeing in Athens/ Free time
17.00: Hotel PARNON in the center
20.00: Dinner at Plaka /traditional restaurant with Acropolis view
Sunday 28th
Each group can choose to go to airport by cab, bus (X96) or by metro (blue line)
Metro costs 10 euros.
Taxi has a fix price 38-40 euros.
The school is not allowed to give invoices. For the buses you will get your invoices from the tourist office or the driver and for the boat from the captain.
Do not forget to take with you TEACHER’s card if you have (for the museums)
