Event:  CHARACTER PILLOWS. Secondary students made special pillows with creatures inside pockets. These creatures are characters of infant stories. The stories will be mimed and played to our kindergarten children.

Event: COOKING SWEETS FROM THE PARTNERS’ COUNTRIES. The 3rd grade with their teachers cooked and tasted sweets from the partner countries. Afterwards they offered them to the rest of the pupils.

Event: LEGEND OF THE BLUE LAND.  In Lębork, every year, we have a competition „The Legends of the Blue Land”. Students write their own myths and legends about Lębork and the surrounding area. Our students have won awards in the XI Open Literary Competition.

Event: ECO DAY. As part of the Eco Day we went to clean the beach to the Slowinski National Park near Łeba. We also visited a place closely associated with our myth of the Old Łeba and there was also cleaned the area.

Event: HISTORY WALK. The pupils of 4b participated in a “time travel” back to the age of our town’s famous myth: the legend of Lehel’s horn. They visited the local museum, learnt about history, completed a puzzle and filled in a quiz.

Event:  CHRISTMAS BAZAAR. The pupils of the 6th grade made handmade gifts and they donated the money they collected to the orphanage.

Event: DIVERSITY DAY. On the occasion of the International Day of Diversity, we shot a movie with actors from partner schools about the differences and similarities of students around the world. Each school sent us short videos, which we then edited.

Event: POMERANIA MYTHS. We prepared multimedia presentations that talked about the myths associated with Pomerania: „Jurata, the Queen of the Baltic Sea” and „The legend of the Great Flood in Łeba”. To take good pictures, we rented special outfits and went to the seaside. We learned a lot about our myths and we had a great time.

Event: DINOSAUR ACTIVITY.  Students visited the museum of dinosaurs from our town. Some of them tried to make small dinosaurs with plaster. Others prepared the coke where they painted traces of dinosaurs.

Event: ROLLING STONE GAME. Our 7a class created a card game with elaborate rules about the countries of the Rolling Stone project. They drew and colored the cards and then taught each other to play it.

Event: BRIDGES. Pupils made each country’s bridges from cardboard boxes. They did it very seriously and we think, that they did it really good. Bridges were so similar to real ones and when our partners started to guess, they did it correctly. (May, 2017)

Event: THE MOUTH OF TRUTH. The play was acted out by the students at Leonori school.  It was about the story of an ancient Roman myth called “The Mouth of truth”, an enormous marble image of a man’s face. According to legend, the man is said to bite off the hand of liars.

Event: AROUCA GEOPARK.  We observed the soil erosion and the nodules released and accumulated in the soil. After studying the geo phenomenon and the mythical stories associated to it, students could visit the site which is a geological treasure known as „Pedras parideiras” (Baby stones delivered by the mother rock). According to the myth, fertility increases when a woman sleeps with one of those stones under her pillow.

Event: VISIT TO THE HANDICAP SCHOOL. Our class 7a paid a visit to our partner school of  handicapped children. They played a game together, learning about the European countries involved in the Erasmus+ Rolling Stone project. They also painted stones in the national colors of the countries.

Event: CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES. During Christmas time, the students prepared greeting cards for their friends from partner schools. On Skype connection they sang Romanian carols to their friends.

Event:  ROLLING STONE NEWS MAGAZINE. A magazine was born in our school ‘’A. Leonori’’. It was realized in English by the students. The newspaper articles were written by secondary school 3A and illustrated by primary school 5D. Each publication was composed by several fixed subjects about the ‘Erasmus Plus’ eight countries. The students wrote about geographic news, sport, food, culture, music, mythology of each country.
