Our experience at Erasmus+

In the beautiful city of Bratislava, an ambitious group of youth workers got together and completed the Erasmus + project in the topic of. The project involved socializing, problem-solving, brainstorming, presenting and learning, and an incredible amount of fun. We didn’t know exactly what we were getting into, but it quickly became clear, that it is a very lucky thing to be participating, as it was a lifechanging 8 days for all of us. Not only did we learn about very important and relevant topics from the experts that we wouldn’t normally have access to, but we could try ourselves in roles we never have before. We got to live in a very friendly hostel with the kindest and most wonderful hosts, who were so incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Getting to know so many people with different cultural and professional backgrounds is a very good reason why everyone should participate in such projects. It is an overall eye-opening experience. Coming home was sad, but with our new friends’ names in our contact lists, we began working on the follow-up project. We held a workshop from the main project material to our peers, unfortunately only through video, because the pandemic tried to ruin our plans. Looking back we would not change a thing, we will always remember this trip with a smile on our faces.
